LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man accused of speeding and causing a crash that killed a woman last year in Louisville has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter charges.
Elio Diogenes, 52, is accused of causing a crash on the Outer Loop near Grade Lane in July 2023 that killed 60-year-old Wanda Hargrove.Â
Last July, Louisville Metro Police said Hargrove was pulling out of a business when she was hit by Diogenes, who was speeding.Â
The indictment said Diogenes caused Hargrove's death. Diogenes was arraigned Tuesday and released from jail on his own recognizance. He's expected back in court in March.
