LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was shot and killed in the Russell neighborhood on Sunday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of West Chestnut, near Dr. W. J. Hodge Street, around 8:30 p.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot multiple times.
The man was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, but he died there a short time later. He hasn't been identified yet.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
