LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are investigating after a shooting victim showed up at UofL Health Hospital late Tuesday evening.Â
According to a news release Wednesday, it happened a little after 9:30 p.m. Sept. 9.
At that time, Louisville Metro Police officers were responding to a report of "shots fired" in the 200 block of Glendora Avenue, which is near the 4400 block of West Market Street in the Shawnee neighborhood, when they were notified about a "walk-in" gunshot wound victim.
The man told investigators, who responded to the hospital, he was sitting in his car when he was shot in the leg.
Police do not have a description of the shooter, but are asking anyone who may have any information on the shooting to make an anonymous call to LMPD's Crime Tip Line at 502-574-LMPD (5673). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the department's online Crime Tip Portal by clicking here.
