LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being found shot in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood on Monday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 7800 block of Greta Avenue, near Dixie Highway, around 5:10 p.m. Police found a man who had been shot.
He was alert and conscious while being taken to University Hospital with what police believe are non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ellis. Police believe the shooting happened at another location and the man went to Greta Avenue.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the shooting, but there are no known suspects.
