LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the Old Louisville neighborhood on Thursday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a reported stabbing in the 1400 block of South 4th Street around 11 p.m.
Police found a man who was alert and conscious, and suffering from a stab wound.
He was taken to University Hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ellis.
It was later determined that the victim was stabbed at another location and made his way to where police found him.
LMPD's Domestic Violence Unit is investigating, and detectives believe they are speaking to a person of interest.
