LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One east coast couple is on a mission to visit every Texas Roadhouse in America, and Friday they made their way to Louisville.
Judy and Mike McNamara have actually been to the restaurants here before, but now they're adding Bubba's 33 and Jaggers to their mission, which are both owned by Texas Roadhouse.
WDRB caught up with the McNamaras Friday at the new Bubba's 33 in Fern Creek to see what they like about Texas Roadhouse.
"It's good. As far as I'm concerned, you can't beat it, but that's my opinion," Mike McNamara said.
This was the couple's 11th Bubba's 33 visit, and they've been to 525 of the more than 600 Texas Roadhouse locations across the country.
For Mike McNamara, he said his favorite meal is the 6 oz. sirloin.
The couple started the quest after retirement when they wanted to travel and see the country.
They said they don't like fine dining, and Texas Roadhouse tastes like home cooking. They also like that it's family oriented.
