Officers responded to a disturbance call a little after 5 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Marshall Drive, off Shelbyville Road.

Robert Green, 60, was taken into custody Thursday night on multiple charges.

A southern Indiana man is behind bars after police said he brutally stabbed a woman in Scott County. 

The three shootings are not believed to be related at this time.

LMPD's Sixth Division Detectives are handling the investigation.

According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers responded to a call of a reported stabbing in the 900 block of East Broadway around 11:55 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim was taken to UofL Hospital, but died of his injuries, according to Bradley.

In August 2023, police said Green showed up to his uncle's home and said he needed a place to stay.

LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a reported stabbing in the 1400 block of South 4th Street around 11 p.m.

The woman was found by officers about 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
