LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police arrested a man following a fatal stabbing in Louisville's Southside neighborhood Wednesday evening.
Robert Green, 60, was taken into custody Thursday night on multiple charges.
Louisville Metro Police responded around 6 p.m. to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of Colonial Oaks Court, LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said. When they arrived, they found a man with stab wounds. He was taken to University Hospital where he later died, Mitchell said.
The man was identified Thursday night by the Jefferson County Coroner as 31-year-old Justin Cory Taylor.
According to an arrest citation, Green went back to his home after the stabbing and strangled a woman, threatening to kill her if she told anyone about the murder.
The woman told police she attempted to leave the apartment after, but Green refused to let her leave.
Green is charged with murder, strangulation, assault, and unlawful imprisonment. He is due in court at 9 a.m. Friday.
