Wisam Khalil was brought from Metro Corrections to a holdover area in Jefferson district court and was talking to his attorney about his domestic violence case when he bolted through a door into the courtroom, down an escalator and toward the exit before being caught.
Kejaun Jackson was arraigned June 20 on several charges including strangulation and threatening to kill a woman and four children, but he was mistakenly released on home incarceration and is now on the run.

It hurts my heart the way he’s being vilified. I am coming forward to try and do what’s right to clear his name.”
