LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Ohio man was arrested in southern Indiana Wednesday after an alleged road rage incident led to a police chase.
Indiana State Police said in a statement Thursday that a witness reported a hit-and-run crash at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday near the 22-mile marker on southbound Interstate 65 in Clark County.
The witness told police a truck, with no license plate, pulled in front of a semi-tractor trailer and immediately slowed, which caused a rear-end crash.
The truck then weaved through traffic and passed other vehicles on the interstate's shoulder. An ISP trooper saw the truck and initiated a traffic stop for the missing license plate and to investigate the crash.
Nathanial Long, 42, of Lima, Ohio, initially slowed down but then sped off and failed to yield, which began a pursuit.
Police said Long exited onto Memphis Blue Lick Road and entered the drive-thru line at an Arby's.
ISP then conducted a felony stop and arrested Long.
He was taken to the Clark County Jail and charged with operating while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, OWI endangerment, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
