LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A person is in custody after a shooting Friday afternoon in Louisville's California neighborhood.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded around 3:30 p.m. to the 2200 block of Garland Avenue on reports of a shooting.
Once on scene, officers found a man who had been shot in the leg. The man was taken to UofL Hospital with what police said are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said a person of interest was detained in connection to the shooting, but did not identify them.
The investigation is ongoing.
