LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police are investigating after a man was shot near an Old Louisville restaurant.
Officers responded to the 200 block of St. Catherine Street, near Dizzy Whizz, just before 5 p.m. Friday on a reported shooting, according to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis.
Once on scene, police found a man who had been shot in the leg. He was alert and conscious while being transported to University of Louisville Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, Ellis said.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
