LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man authorities say abused his 2-month-old child.

Christopher Nabors, 27, was booked into Metro Corrections on Wednesday morning.

The official police warrant says Nabors allegedly threw his child onto a bed on Sept. 23. Authorities say the child bounced off the bed and hit his head on the floor.

Investigators say this caused the child to have a "non-accidental head bleed." Police say the child also suffered bruising to his stomach and other injuries to his face.

The child was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital to be examined. There is no word on the child's current condition.

Nabors is charged with criminal abuse and is being held on a $20,000 cash bond.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
