LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police investigators are looking for suspects after a man was stabbed early Monday in the Russell neighborhood. 

It happened around 5:30 a.m. Monday, according to a news release from LMPD. Officers from the 1st Division responded to a shooting report — that was later updated to a stabbing — in the 2700 block of West Broadway. 

When officers arrived at that location, they found a man with a stab wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital in downtown Louisville with injuries that do not appear life-threatening, LMPD said.
