LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were arrested on several drug charges Wednesday after a SWAT team raided a home in the 1700 block of west Chestnut Street.Â
According to the arrest report, detectives and SWAT members entered the home and saw 23-year-old Charlie Shoulders trying to hide "a SKS style rifle" and a 9mm Glock handgun under the sofa. Both weapons were loaded with a round in the chamber, police say.Â
During a search of the residence, police also found several large baggies of suspected heroin, four scales, marijuana and a substance believed to be spice. Police also recovered an unknown amount of cash "in quantities indicative of narcotics trafficking."
Police arrested Williams, along with 29-year-old Amy Jones. Both are charged with enhanced trafficking in a controlled substance, enhanced possession of marijuana, and enhanced possession of cannabinoids.Â
Their bond was set at $2,500 each.
