LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Shelby County jail employee was arrested and charged with sodomy with an inmate, according to Kentucky State Police.
According to KSP, the incident happened April 1. Police said Ladonis Mayfield, 31, engaged in appropriate sexual advances toward a female inmate while on duty.
Mayfield, from Taylorsville, was arrested April 7. He is lodged at Oldham County Detention Center and charged with two counts of sodomy.Â
