LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police arrested a man Tuesday in connection to the stabbing of a woman Saturday morning at a Shively gas station.
According to Shively police, officers responded to a reported stabbing just after 2 a.m. at the Speedway in the 4400 block of Dixie Highway.
Police said a woman was standing outside the business when a man robbed and stabbed her before leaving the area.
Timothy Johnson, 44, was arrested in connection to the incident. He is charged with first degree robbery and second degree assault.
Johnson is being held on a $50,000 bond, according to court records.
The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. She was taken to the hospital after the attack.
