LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Hardin County Sheriff's Office wants to identify a suspect connected to an armed robbery at a food mart earlier this month.

According to police, a suspect robbed Eastview Food Mart on July 2. The suspect was wearing a black mask, black clothing and gloves while brandishing a gun.

"We understand some questioned why the images weren’t released immediately," Hardin County Sheriff's Office posted. "Our investigative team had strategic reasons for delaying their release—details we cannot publicly disclose."

There is no vehicle information available.
