LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The trial for a Kentucky man charged in the overdose deaths of two women is delayed again.

According to court documents, an order was filed Wednesday to give both parties more time for the case to move forward, FOX56 News reported Friday.

In January, a judge granted Brian Epperson's motion to delay the trial that was scheduled to start Feb. 2.

Epperson is charged in connection with the 2025 deaths of Kristen Morris and Reacheal Dawson. He pleaded not guilty to their deaths in May and July 2025.

The judge said Epperson had "voluminous supplemental discovery" to review, as well as a proposed plea agreement from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

His trial is now set for Aug. 3.
