LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A woman died Thursday night after being stabbed in Louisville's Chickasaw neighborhood.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers were called just after 7 p.m. to the 1000 block of South 38th Street on a report of a stabbing.
When police arrived, they found a woman inside an apartment who had been stabbed.
The woman was taken to UofL Hospital serious injuries. In an update, LMPD said she died from her injuries in the hospital.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the woman Friday afternoon as 53-year-old Kimberly Alexander.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
