LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A southern Indiana church was damaged Tuesday evening after a semitruck plowed into it.Ā

It happened just before 6 p.m. on Highway 150 and Corydon Ramsey Road in Palmyra, Indiana, according to Harrison County Emergency Management Director Mike Kurz.

The unloaded semi was traveling on Highway 150 when it crashed into the front of Faith Victory Center Church, he said. The cause of the crash is being investigated, but Kurz said it was raining heavily at the time of the crash.

The semi driver suffered minor injuries, and there was no one inside the church at the time. The church did suffer damage, but the extent is not known.
