LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Bellarmine University has expanded its cannabis certificate program just a month into its launch.

Bellarmine has added the Cannabis Product Development and Design Certificate program, making it the fifth program in Cannabis Studies. 

The new certificate program teaches the art of formulating cannabis products like topicals and edibles, cannabis extraction, cannabis manufacturing and compliant packaging. 

Other certificate programs offered in Bellarmine's Cannabis Studies include Cannabis Healthcare and Medicine, Cannabis Agriculture and Horticulture, The Business of Cannabis and Cannabis Compliance and Risk Management. Each certificate program is six months and online.
