LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Public Schools canceled all athletic events, practices and extracurricular activities scheduled for Saturday and Sunday with significant winter weather expected all weekend.
A district spokesperson said Thursday that the cancellation includes all home and away games, team practices and club meetings.
With a mixture of snow and ice forecast for the area Saturday and Sunday, the whole area is bracing for impacts on work, travel, school and more.
