LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Murals created by two Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) students will be displayed at local McDonald's restaurants.
The winning pieces were created by Christopher Sabol from PRP High School and Lauren Cox from Atherton High School.
Each of them will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Students were challenged to create art blending the nostalgia of McDonald's with their unique interpretation of Louisville.
The art will be transformed into 5-by-5 murals and displayed at the McDonald's closest to each school to celebrate the culture and creativity in the community.
