LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — After state and federal executive orders, Indiana-based Ivy Tech is eliminating its office for diversity, equity and inclusion.

In a letter sent to students this week, Ivy Tech said it would be terminating its office of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging, effective March 12.

Ivy Tech President Sue Ellspermann said to protect its state and federal funding, the university "must fully align with all federal and state laws."

The college said it is still committed to serving all students and "to provide a welcoming environment and high quality education."
