LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Another video is circulating of a fight at a Jefferson County Public Schools high school.
The video from Ballard High School shows large groups of students fighting each other out in the open.
According to a letter sent to Ballard parents Wednesday, there were two separate incidents Wednesday, and the students involved have been disciplined.
Ballard's Principal Dr. Jason Neuss said the first fight happened during lunch, while the second took place during dismissal. Both were broken up by staff and no serious injuries were reported, he said.
Neuss is also asking people to stop recording the fights.
"I want to remind everyone that recording video of these situations and sharing them with others is not appropriate," Neuss wrote. "Doing so only supports and perpetuates the negative behavior and can cause further harm. We encourage our students to engage in positive actions and problem-solving, rather than contributing to situations that escalate."
Neuss said in response to Wednesday's fights, he has requested an additional JCPS officer on campus "out of an abundance of caution."
The case at Ballard is the latest in a string of fights caught on video at JCPS schools.
Doss High School has had several incidents. A JCPS employee told WDRB News Tuesday that they've become an almost daily occurrence.
