LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A disturbing video shows a violent attack onboard of a Jefferson County Public Schools' bus.
The video was taken onboard a school bus leaving Kammerer Middle School on Friday.Â
"You can see at the end of the video he took his belt off, what I don't show is him whipping my son with that belt buckle," said Whitney Davis, the child's mother.
Davis is still angry, outraged and emotional.
"The incident in question started on Friday afternoon with me receiving a phone call of my son crying for help and saying that he was about to be jumped," Davis said.

Kionni Davis was attacked on a school bus in Louisville, Ky.
Her 12-year-old son Kionni was beaten by another student on the bus on the way home from school.
"His eyes are black, the second day after the incident, they were swollen almost completely shut," Davis said. "I have pictures of that. He still has a shoe print mark on the back of his neck and marks behind his ear."
The cell phone video shows part of the attack as a student approaches Kionni and punches him in the face.
"He was terrified to fight back," Davis said.
Kionni curled into a ball to protect himself.
"He said that it happened so fast and they came from behind that he just went into a fetal position and balled up and was scared," Davis said.
The punches continued for more than a minute.
"I couldn't watch it the first time, I burst into tears," Davis said.
Kionni said it started with a verbal assault in school and escalated into the violent attack.
"There were some back and forth comments, and he eventually just got up and started beating me," Kionni said.
The bus driver continued on the route as other students watched, screamed and recorded it with their cell phones.
"They cheered him on," Kionni said.
JCPS didn't comment on the camera footage, but released in a statement saying in part, "students involved will be disciplined in accordance with the Student Support and Behavior Intervention Handbook and could face charges."
Davis said her son won't be going back to Kammerer or any other JCPS school.
