LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An EF1 tornado with 95 mph winds touched down early Thursday morning near the LaRue/Hart county line, the National Weather Service said.
The NWS said its survey team will visit the area in northern Hart County on Thursday and encouraged anyone impacted by the storm to share damage reports.

Several lines of storms moved across western and central Kentucky on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, dropping heavy rain, lightning and damaging winds in some areas. At various points between 5 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Tornado Warnings were issued for Casey, Lincoln, Marion, Hart, Edmonson, Taylor, Green, LaRue, Grayson, Hardin, Ohio and Butler counties.
The final Tornado Watch, for a large section of western, southern and eastern Kentucky, was canceled by the NWS just before 9:30 a.m.
