LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Eastern Kentucky University now offers a degree in video game design.
It's the first college in the state to offer that degree.Â
The Gaming Institute has enrolled 100 students who are expected to graduate with a bachelor's degree in computer science, and a concentration in interactive media.
The professor who leads the institute says the program is filling a need.
One student says programming games isn't just play; difficult math is required to get the degree.
