LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Elf on the Shelf is expanding its mischief mission at a New Haven, Kentucky farm.

Affinity Farms in Nelson County posted a series of photos of a real-life elf.

Michael Kelly and Ben Howell manage grain handling at the farm. To have some end of the year fun on the farm, they created an "Elf on the Farm" series. That's when Santa's helper Ben the Elf showed up at the door.

The pictures show the "elf" going into a porta potty and helping himself to some Mountain Dew out of the fridge. He also climbs on to the heavy equipment and scales a grain silo.

Leah, their photographer, graciously blocked out an afternoon in November to help capture 25 poses for a 25 days of Christmas photoshoot.

Affinity Farm said the goal is to bring some joy to everyone who follows them this Christmas season.

There are still a few days left until Christmas, so you never know where Ben the Elf will pop up next. If you want to follow their posts on Facebook, click here.
