Feast BBQ opens newest location in old Jeffersontown auto shop

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former auto shop in Jeffersontown smells a little different these days.

Feast BBQ opened its second Louisville-area location Tuesday in downtown Jeffersontown's historic gaslight district.

The building, at Taylorsville Road and Watterson Trail, was once home to a muffler shop.

"We're always looking for re-use buildings," said Ryan Rogers, the owner of Feast BBQ. "Our original location on Market Street is an old truck dealership. So this kind of fit in that same mold of what we look for when we're opening another barbeque restaurant."

Feast BBQ is known for pork cakes, loaded tots and tacos as well as its bourbon slushies. There's also a location in NuLu.
