LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — For the second year in a row, the Frazier Kentucky History Museum has been named the best museum in Kentucky.
The museum earned the title in USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards.
The honor comes after a busy year for the Frazier, with new exhibits, events and programs highlighting Kentucky history and culture.
For America's 250th anniversary, the Frazier opened four new exhibits and took its "120 Cool KY Counties" exhibit on the road as "120 on the Road."
The museum also launched "Bourbon Through Bluegrass" tasting events and released the second season of its "Kentucky Wide" podcast.
Outside the museum, the Frazier added a mural on Ninth Street and launched "Find the Frazier," a citywide ticket giveaway campaign.
The latest award marks the second consecutive year the Frazier has been recognized as Kentucky's top museum in the USA TODAY reader-voted contest.
