Holiday luck? Powerball jackpot soars ahead of Monday's drawing

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Just in time for the holidays, the Powerball jackpot is soaring again.

There was no winner for Saturday's drawing. The numbers were: 13-14-26-28-44 with a red Powerball of 7 and a 2x Power Play.

Monday's jackpot is up to an estimated $875 million with an estimated cash value of $403.6 million. Both prize options are before taxes. If the winner selects the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5-percent each year.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states including Kentucky, Indiana, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
