LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Ā Horseshoe Southern Indiana is cooking up something new to replace the Paula Deen buffet.Ā  It closed in June after Caesars Entertainment did not renew the contract for that buffet.

Deen had been under fire for admitting in a deposition to using the so-called "N-word" in the past.

The space will reopen in December as the Spread Buffet.Ā  Construction is underway right now.

TheĀ new buffet will offer Italian, Heartland, Mexican, and Asian fare and will also feature a Taste of Kentuckiana station to offer specialty dishes unique to our region.
