LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Hundreds of people gathered Saturday for a decades-old Crescent Hill tradition.

The Crescent Hill Fourth of July Festival took place at the Peterson-Dumesnil House. Each year, people enjoy the holiday with dozens of vendors, food trucks and artists.

Families participated in games and pet contests, and there was plenty of ice cream before the fireworks.

"We just see friends and family from all over the city," Erin McGee Ferrell said. "It is so convenient to just walk to and from this event. I always try to support the artisans."
