LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The fight against the dog flu still isn't over.
The Indiana State Board of Animal Health says dog owners should still watch for signs of it.
Coughing is usually the first sign and can last three weeks.
It's highly contagious and doctors say healthy dogs can usually recover, but the very old and very young are at higher risk.
The flu can turn into pneumonia which can be fatal.
