LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Charlestown City Police Department said those applying for an Indiana gun permit may want to wait another month.
Beginning in July, the lifetime license to carry in Indiana will become fee exempt. The fee for a five-year license will also become exempt in July.
Gun permits are typically issued within 60 days, according to Indiana State Police.
