LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police said an Indianapolis father is facing neglect charges after his 4-year-old son found an unsecured gun at home and shot himself.
Police said the child is expected to survive, according to a story by Fox59.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Myrin Kirksey, 26, was arrested on a charge of neglect of a dependent after his son shot himself around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on the city’s east side.
