LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police are investigating an inmate death at the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown, Indiana.
ISP said in a news release on Tuesday evening that jail staff responded to a holding cell around 5:15 p.m. to check on an inmate.
Antonio Fox, 35, of Jackson, Mississippi, collapsed inside the cell while officers were speaking to him.

Fox was transported to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour and was soon pronounced dead.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department called ISP to investigate the death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
