LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Slick roads may have been a factor in a crash involving a JCPS bus early Thursday.Â
It happened just before 7 a.m. in the 10800 block of Easum Road, near Billtown Road and Chenoweth Run Road in Jeffersontown, which is not far from Charlie Vettiner Park.
JCPS spokesperson Carolyn Callahan said two students were on board Bus No. 2032 at the time of the crash, but no injuries were reported.
We've asked where the bus was headed, but did not immediately receive a response.Â

WDRB's Keith Kaiser, reporting from the scene of the crash, said the bus was in the correct lane on the winding, snow-covered road when a car rounding a curve near a guardrail was apparently unable to stop and crashed head-on into the bus.Â
WDRB crews were still at the scene when a man driving down the hill ended up hitting a tree while trying to avoid another car in front of him. He appeared to be uninjured after the crash.Â

The road was closed while crews cleared the scene, and drivers approaching the crash were faced with trying to safely turn around on the slick, narrow street.Â
