LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Icy conditions contributed to Jefferson County Public Schools bus accident Wednesday afternoon near Iroquois Park.
MetroSafe confirmed the crash happened just before 3 p.m. on Manslick Road at Franelm Road. That's in a residential area off Palatka Road near Auburndale.
JCPS spokesperson Carolyn Callahan said bus 1931 slid on ice and hit a tree. It was carrying 14 students from Layne Elementary School. No one was injured.
Another bus was dispatched to pick up the students to get them home.
