LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- JD Shelburne made his official debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Saturday night.
The Taylorsville native took the stage at 7:15 p.m. after being introduced by country music legend and friend Steve Wariner.
Shelburne said he has never in his life been so nervous to perform songs, which included "Summertime All Year" and "Church Pew Barstool."Â
He signed the artist book, calling it the pinnacle and saying "Nothing tops this night etched in my memory forever."Â
Shelburne plans to frame the commemorative poster from his Opry debut.
"My publicist took this poster around that night and ask every artist on the show to sign it and personalize it for me to keep forever," Shelburne posted on Facebook. "That was really special."
