LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Jeffersonville High School student suffered a traumatic brain injury during a car crash Friday night.
Jeffersonville Red Devils Volleyball said senior Alex Avila was involved in a crash. He's in the ICU at UofL Hospital with a traumatic brain injury. There is a brain bleed, according to the team.
"We are asking for prayers to focus on the immediate need of healing and recovery for this awesome guy," Jeffersonville Red Devils Volleyball posted.
