LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One Kentuckian is $2 million richer after Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased online and matched all five white balls, with an added PowerPlay that doubled the winnings.

Winners of large online prizes need to select "claim in person" in their online account, then pick up their check at the Kentucky Lottery Headquarters on Main Street downtown within 180 days.

Lottery officials said the last Kentuckian to win $2 million in the Powerball was a Elizabethtown woman in December 2023.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 1-14-20-46-51 with a Powerball of 26. With no winner, the current jackpot is an estimated $820 million. The next drawing is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 p.m.
