Deidrea Pickett, the Tesla contest winner

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- After visiting more than 400 Tesla Supercharger locations, a Kentucky woman won free Supercharging for life in a rare global Tesla contest.

Deidrea Pickett is one of only three Tesla owners globally to earn the prize after finishing at the top of a worldwide contest run by Tesla Charging in 2025.

The challenge tracked how many unique Supercharger stations drivers visited throughout the year. Pickett's total set her apart from millions of Tesla owners using the network.

Her husband, Nicholas Pickett, said the win reflects her love of travel and adventure.

"She loves being on the road," he said. "This is like a trophy for her sense of adventure."

With free Supercharging for life, Pickett's future road trips now come with one less stop to worry about.
