LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The son of NBA great Larry Bird has been arrested for allegedly trying to run over his ex-girlfriend.
Conner Bird, the son of former Pacers coach and executive Larry Bird, was arrested Sunday by IU campus police after an incident involving a woman who told police she was Conner Bird's former girlfriend.
An Indianapolis TV station reports that Conner Bird was arrested Feb. 10. IU campus police made the arrest after the ex-girlfriend flagged them down.
Bird, 21, faces numerous charges, including possession of marijuana.
He was previously arrested in October 2011 for underage drinking and disorderly conduct. He paid a fine and entered a diversion program.
