LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's own Linkin' Bridge is suing its former manager.

The group's relationship with Tom Mabe was terminated in March 2018 after a slew of issues.

"Just a lot of issues with complaints from clients," said Brian McGraw, the attorney for Linkin' Bridge. "Complaints from people that were involved in the bookings."

The band also asked Mabe for an account of all profits and revenue.

"And he never did that," McGraw said. "Not once in over two years gave them any sort of record of what the money was being generated."

But in a statement to WDRB News, Mabe said "I have always made all records available to them. And since May, have shown every financial record and every performance contract to their lawyer, as requested."

Despite no longer working together, McGraw said Mabe is still using their name and image to promote himself and other clients. He said Mabe even refuses to release control of the group's Facebook page and website.

"The Facebook page and the website are their primary source of bookings," McGraw said. "And he is forcing clients to continue to got through him as opposed to relinquishing control."

However, in his statement, Mabe said "This is a group I created, and held auditions for." He goes on to say "LinkinBridge.com and the FB page are owned by me, they have always known that."

The band's original page has nearly 90,000 likes. Its new page, called "The Real Linkin' Bridge," only has close to 3,000 likes.

"They do have a big following that's essentially cut off if they have to rely on the Facebook page they just created," McGraw said.
