Man arrested in connection to west Louisville homicide, police say

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was arrested Friday in connection to a west Louisville homicide that took place in June.

Louisville Metro Police said it made an arrest in a west Louisville homicide that happened in June.

Ofc. Adam Sears, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said 40-year-old Jose Hill was arrested in connection to a homicide that happened in the early hours of June 4. A man was found shot to death in the 2700 block of Elliott Avenue. Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hill has been charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

LMPD said this case remains an active and ongoing investigation by LMPD’s Homicide Unit.
