LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a woman was shot and killed in southern Louisville Wednesday night near West Whitney Avenue and Peachtree Avenue.
About five minutes prior to that shooting, LMPD says they responded to a fatal shooting around 8:15 p.m. at Seventh Street Road and Berry Boulevard, MetroSafe confirmed Police responded to this second shooting just over a mile from the scene of the first.Â
There was no indication that the shootings were related.
Police did not have suspect information immediately available.Â
