Local vet gets much needed car repairs all for free

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local veteran is honored by getting his truck tuned-up for free.

Travis Tiffany is an Army veteran from Rineyville, Kentucky, and was awarded two Purple Hearts for his service in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

AAMCO partnered with the Military Order of the Purple Heart to give back to America's veterans across the US. Through the 50 Cars in 50 States program, AAMCO is repairing the cars of 50 combat vets for free.

Tiffany is the recipient in Kentucky. He says there's no way he could afford to repair his failing truck with more than 200,000 miles on it.
